Description: Staurogyne Repens is a go-to carpeting/foreground plant in most aquascapes. It contrasts excellently against natural woods and rocks while maintaining very dense growth. In low-tech conditions, this plant will grow upwards searching for light rather than horizontally.
Difficulty: As with all aquarium plants, Co2 injection and appropriate fertilisation are recommended for optimal health and growth. Nonetheless, this plant is considered easy to grow as hobbyists with varying levels of experience generally experience success.
Emersed Growth: Staurogyne Repens grows emersed very easily. Excess cuttings can be simply thrown in a humid container with access to indirect sunlight and new growth should start to appear in a couple of weeks.
